Where can I park the toGO car
toGO is Cyprus first free floating car-share. You can end your trip in any approved parking space in the Home Zone.
This means you can take one-way trips across the city, as well as collecting or leaving the car at airport parking.
Where can I go with toGO car
You can take a toGO almost anywhere you like.
With toGO you can discover all territory of Cyprus and drive to any zone except Northern Cyprus (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). For example you can take a car in Pafos and leave it at any home zone in Polis.
Your toGO car cannot be driven on beaches, off road area, taken on ferries of any kind, on riverbeds or through floodwater.
Do I need to put fuel in the car?
Fuel is included in your pricing, but toGO members take responsibility for fuelling the cars.
When the fuel drops to 1/4 volume of the tank capacity, go to Esso fuel station in Cyprus and fuel the toGO car. Fill a full fuel tank and pay with the Esso Fleet Card which you will find in the toGO car at the sun visor on the top of the driver’s side. 
  • Never fill up your toGO with diesel
  • Ending your booking with the fuel tank at less than 1/4 full can result in a fine.
  • If the fuel card doesn’t work, please call toGO to have the card reset and/or receive instructions on how to use the card.
  • If for some reason the fuel card still doesn’t work, buy fuel with your own form of payment. Submit the receipt and we’ll credit your account.
Are toGO cars insured?
Of course! Insurance is included in all toGO pricing.
All toGO cars are insured with the compulsory third-party liability.

Am I eligible to carshare with toGO?
All applicants must meet toGO’s driving standard:
  • Be 21+ years of age
  • have a category B driving licence
  • have a driving experience of at least 2 years
How do I join?
To sign up, you need to download the toGO app to your smart iOS or Android telephones, enter the requested personal data and a valid telephone number to verify your signing up.
The final step is to link a payment card to your toGO account. That’s it. Now you can use a car sharing service.
How long does it take to process my application?
It takes only a couple of minutes to register at toGO. To be able to process your application we will need to check the applications documents as personal id, driving license.
After you have submitted all your applications documentation you must confirm you’re driving license’s validity. You can do it just in a few minutes by following the instructions in the app and what’s all.

What types of car accessories are available?
Our available accessories vary from car to car. Some include Bluetooth, roof racks, backup cameras, children’s seating.
Can I install a child seat or roof rack on the car?
Yes!
However, with the exception of baby seats, child seats, roof racks and bicycle racks, you must call and speak to toGO staff before you install any third-party equipment on a car.

Home zone is an area where you can end car rent. The areas you can park toGO cars are marked on the map in the app.

Can I take a toGO car across the border?
No.
Leaving Cyprus or drive on Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is strictly prohibited. Exceptions are possible, if the trip in question is approved by toGO in adcarce.
Booking a toGO car
How do I book toGO cars?
Making a booking is easy.
Open the app and find the nearest car on the map. Press the cars icon to bring up the exact zone and fuel level of the car in question. Once you find a suitable car, select ‘Book’. You’ll then have 15 minutes to reach the car. The app will show you the quickest way of getting to toGO car.
How long are bookings valid for?
Free bookings are valid for 15 minutes. After that, you’ll be charged according to the price list for the use of the car starting from 15 minutes after the booking is made.
Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel any booking free of charge within 15 minutes of making it. If you change your mind, simply choose ‘Cancel’ and then confirm that you’re cancelling the booking. Bear in mind that you’re charged from the moment you unlock the car.
How do I end my booking?
At the end of every booking, you must ensure that:
  • the car is in its home zone
  • interior and exterior are tidy, and emptied of your personal belongings
  • the fuel tank is not ¼ leer
  • the key and fuel card inside the car
  • you check that all doors (including back hatch) are locked
On the road with toGO
Do I need to inspect the car before every booking?
Yes.  You are expected to perform a pre- and post-trip walk-around inspection to ensure the toGO car is in good condition.
If you spot any visible defects (e.g. dents, scratches, other damage) larger than a fob and not already marked with a sticker, or if any service icon appears on the car’s dashboard, let us know right away—send a description and photo using our app or by email or call us—before you drive.
If you don’t tell us before you drive, you may be liable for the damage.
Do I have to return my toGO car to its home zone?
Yes.
toGO is a two-way carshare and all of our cars have a home zone. To end your trip, you have to return the car to its home zone.
Terminating your hire period outside these areas isn’t possible. Your hire period continues until you park the car and terminate your booking in the app.
How do I lock toGO car during booking?
You can use the cars key to lock and unlock your toGO car during booking.
The keys are in the glove box, so you don't need to be near cell reception to access the car once you've started your trip using the toGO App.
Please, check the car door handle after fobbing out to ensure that it’s locked.
Can another person drive during my booking?
No

Am I responsible for cleaning toGO cars?
toGO’s Fleet Team cleans our cars regularly — inside and out. We do require that you empty the car of any garbage and personal items and make an extra effort to leave the car clean for the next Member.
If you’ve had pets in the car, please do an extra sweep to make sure the car is left tidy. When using a toGO parked at a residential building, please respect their garbage and recycling rooms and avoid leaving a mess.
If you find a car is dirty at the start of your booking, please report it immediately using our app or by sending an email to info@toGOrent.com. Please include the date and time of your booking along with a description of the mess and any supporting photos.
If you leave the car dirty, you may be asked to clean the car, be charged a cleaning fee and/or your carsharing privileges may be suspended.
Do I have to pay for parking?
Members are responsible for any metered or paid parking during their trip.
There are some areas in the Lower Mainland where toGO members can park without paying and without worry. However, these parking privileges vary by city, municipality and district. All our cargo cars and pick-up trucks have commercial parking permits.
What must I make sure of before ending my rental?
The car must be parked in accordance with the traffic laws;
The car must be parked in a place where it does not obstruct other people;
The next user must be able to find the car and start using it without difficulty;
The car park must be publicly available and not managed by a private car park operator.
Accidents, insurance and driving
Are toGO cars insured?
Of course! Insurance is included in all toGO pricing.
All toGO cars are insured with the compulsory third-party liability.
What should I do if I’ve been in an accident?
In the event of a car accident, please follow the road traffic rules applied in Cyprus:
  • You should contact the police by calling the emergency number 112. Police will subsequently call an ambulance or the fire service to the scene of the accident, if it is deemed necessary;
  • After contacting the police not move your car from the spot of the accident. No matter how small an accident it is or where it has happened, you should not move your car unless you want to take full responsibility for the accident even though it was not a case;
  • You should not move your car until both the police and the insurance agents have finished their job of documenting the accident and taking pictures, notes and statements. It is likely that the police will arrive first, but even if the police are done at the scene, do not move the car until you have a clear go from the insurance agents.
In all cases, toGO must also be informed about the accidents call us right away.
Do I have to pay if I damage a toGO during my booking?
In the event of a car accident which was not caused by you (e.g. the car that you drove was hit by the person who had violated the road traffic rules), the insurance will cover the losses incurred and you will not need to pay any extra charges.
If when using a toGO car you will cause an accident, you will be subject to €500 unconditional deductible (i.e. you will not pay more than €500, even if you suffer bigger losses). In case of non-insured events (e.g. if you drive drunken, violate road traffic rules, etc.), you will have to cover all losses.
What if I get a ticket or get towed?
If you get a speeding, parking or other traffic-related ticket, you have to pay for it. If the car is towed or impounded during your booking, you will have to pay for the cost incurred to recover it.
What if I can’t start the car?
Call us right away and we’ll troubleshoot with you. If it turns out to be a mechanical failure of some sort, we’ll assist you and help get you on your way.
Managing your account
How is the cost of a trip calculated
The time for the car use starts from the moment of unlocking a car and ends when a car is locked with an app. Each time you use toGO, you will pay only for the time of  the use of a car and kilometers driven.
How can I pay my account balance?
toGO members have the following payment options available:
  • A valid payment card linked to your account (preferred method). We accept VISA, MasterCard or American Express with online payments option.
  • Payment in person at our offices

How much money can I save by carsharing with toGO?
Our rates include almost everything: insurance, fuel, maintenance and parking privileges.
Can I use toGO cars for work-related tasks?
toGO cars are insured for you to use the cars for any task. Some members use the car mainly for work and claim the toGO invoices as a business expense. Home office consultants find toGO a great way to save overhead costs.
How can I retrieve something I forgot in the car?
If you realize after the booking has ended that you left something in the car, just make a new 15-minute booking and retrieve your goods. If the toGO car already booked by other member, please, contact us.
If you find someone else’s belongings in the car, let us know and leave them there.  The owner will be able to collect them after your booking is completed.
What happens if I lose the cars’s documents or keys?

Is smoking allowed in cars?
Smoking is prohibited in toGO cars. A fine for smoking in a car is €50.
Can I bring my pet in a toGO?
Animals are allowed in all toGO Cars.
Members are responsible for cleaning any pet hair or other messes.
